USANA Associates Do Not Want Their Prospects To Read This Blog. I Wonder Why?

I got a kick out of a message someone posted on the USANA distributor team Integritas facebook page. Unfortunately the message was removed (no surprise), but not before I commented on it and took a screen shot.

Anthony ***** - How can associates protect themselves from usanawatchdog.com when a prospect decides to research the company on their own?

Usana WatchDog - Really? USANA Associates need to protect themselves when prospects decide to research the company on their own? This is priceless.

  1. Just wondering. If USANA is a scam, why is it in NASDAQ?

    1. Why do employees lose money 99% of the time? If this is true, its a scam.

    2. So all of traditional business is a scam? Seeing as the success rate of traditional business isn't far off that?

  3. Dont think scam is a suitable word, but rather it is a business that associates are just customers getting rebates on the product they consumed.

  4. ^ The better sentence would be:
It is a business wherein associates are just customers getting rebates on the prospects they successfully recruit. :)

  5. Better Anonymous, you are confused about who is doing what, and to whom.
When you sign up a prospect to be Usana's associate they become Usana's customer. Since you are being paid to recruit and not to sell product what you get would not be a rebate. It would be a commission. A rebate is paid based what you have purchased. You purchased nothing a therefore you did not get a rebate.
This makes Usana a pyramid scheme as there is almost no sales of product to retail customers. Usana's business opportunity is an endless chain of forced purchases.
It is this confusion that makes all MLMs a ripoff. You should be ashamed of yourself.

    1. You should know better that the conclusion of a false assumption, even if true, renders the whole assessment false.
      This is called logic.
To make it simpler, your assumption is "Since you are being paid to recruit".
Don't even bother having a big long explanation to support your claim, many on this blog have tried and failed. And don't even go into that 1% number. That's just a myth and bad math. Do the calculation yourself. The remuneration method is known..you just need some mathematical skills.

  6. To answer the title of this post I'll use a simple analogy:
It takes 1 idiot to throw a rock in the river and 3 intelligent guys to figure how to take it out.
Now please, refrain to debate the analogy if you fail to get the essence.

  7. This is pretty stupid, in my opinion. I mean, really, do you know about your own articles?

It's like if the NBA is asking how they could stop people from watching FIFA, while FIFA's giving them all sorts of reasons why NBA sucks. I hope you thought about it first, really.

*I'm not even a seller of anything. Just a blog reader.

    1. USANA had Facebook ban my account after I posted a comment on USANA's Facebook page. If I recall I simply asked them what percentage of sales were attributed to retail customers... I got a message next time I logged in telling me the account was banned for harassment... Lesson learned: don't post a comment on USANA's facebook page if you are a critic...
